Experiencia fantástica: I couldn’t recommend Jen and her team more. Our wedding was beautiful and we were able to enjoy every second (the team handled all day-of logistics). There wasn’t a single thing that Jen’s team couldn’t source in preparation (including American Sign Language interrupters in Spain!). We did a three day event and every piece was meticulously planned and beautifully executed. Simply the best!

This was a destination wedding for us with guests from all over the world (mainly United States). We had a venue coordinator and we weren't sure if adding a planner would be necessary. We had talked to many planners via zoom but once we talked to Jennifer it just clicked. We are Black couple and had guests of all colors/cultures. Jennifer understood the need to connect us with vendors who could do our makeup and photograph everyone beautifully. As a bride, she made the day so stress free. Several guests even noticed and complimented her professionalism, proactiveness, and charm. 10/10~ it was 100% worth it to hire Crystal Events. Experiencia fantástica: Where do I even start? Jennifer and Crystal Events are the most amazing wedding planners that I can’t quite put it into words how thankful we are. Jennifer from the offset was friendly, funny and so organised and after almost two years of planning she became such a good friend we’re now at a loss without her. She offered fantastic vendors and was ready to help at a drop of a hat even at awkward timings. I am the biggest control freak but with Jennifer organising, I knew the day would be perfect and I didn’t need to stress. Our wedding day was the most magical day of our lives and that is all down to Jennifer. In 36 degree heat Jennifer arrived at the venue on the day of the wedding at 10am and stayed until 2am the next day. Moments before I walked down the aisle Jennifer was the person I went to for some last minute advice and calmed any nerves I had. Experiencia fantástica: Jennifer and the entire team at Crystal Events made our 35 person destination wedding the most unbelievable experience! We asked for a nearly week long event with activities, catering, transportation, and with the caveat that we wanted it all to feel comfortable and not overly produced and Crystal Events went above and beyond to find some of the most incredible vendors to make this happen. This doesn't even include the incredible attention to detail they had to make our wedding day and ceremony the absolute best. My first port of call was google and Crystal Events came up. Without any referral, it's sometimes a bit hard to know what you are getting, especially abroad. But I can assure anyone who's at that step that Crystal Events and Jennifer are some of the most considerate and comprehensive (and patient!) professionals I have had the pleasure to meet. Experiencia fantástica: From the moment we had our first conversation via Skype until the moment we said goodbye, my wife and I experienced the most professional, detail-oriented, pleasant, and caring professionals we could have ever imagined. Our wedding planning started far away in the United States with just a dream in mind of getting married near Barcelona, and perhaps by the sea. From there Laura introduced us to the world of possibilities that not only the city had to offer but also Crystal Events. Their experience in all sizes of weddings was astounding. The photos of these weddings were enough to get you ready to agree to any terms. My wife and I were cautious in that we did not have experience in setting up a wedding from so far away. Laura was humble, easy to communicate with, attentive to our ideas. We very quickly realized that there was really only one way to go and it was with Crystal Events. Laura introduced us to who would be our go to wedding planner, Jennifer. Not to spoil the ending, but by the end of the whole process my wife and I considered Jen one of our good friends, and a person to visit when we return to the city. Jen was incredible. She wrote weekly if not biweekly emails updating us thoroughly on decisions that needed to be made, and a wealth of options. Situations arose in which options changed, and Jen and Laura provided alternatives to all our slight nuances and requests. I cannot a recall a single moment within the year and a half where we felt our options were exhausted. Laura and Jen provided us with monthly budget updates that were extremely helpful. They were always available either via email or Skype to discuss any issue or questions. We visited Barcelona with about 6months before the wedding to finalize the venue, menu, entertainment, and other important pieces. Crystal Events was available at every moment beyond what is necessary for a wedding planning enterprise. They helped us get a chauffeur and van to travel to the venue. They provided us with restaurant and entertainment recommendations. It is a difficult balance to find in people who are equally professional, fun, and down to earth. Every person from Crystal Events we came across excelled in all of these areas. My family and I to this day remember the day we visited the wedding venue, rehearsal dinner venue. We left Barcelona feeling relaxed and extremely satisfied with how everything was going. The wedding weekend was perfection. A wedding day is special for many reasons, and at times people may look back at issues and laugh at them. However, the reality is that our weekend and actual wedding day was flawless. The details that were accounted for extremely appreciated. Our buses timely, our exit from the hotel and venue flawless. Jen even packed our bags during the wedding so that when we left we had everything ready to go. We sought a wedding planner that would focus on the minute elements because our thought was that a truly memorable wedding day revolves around these beautiful details. Crystal events was flawless. They allowed us to enjoy our day to the absolute maximum potential. We will never forget the day, and alongside it the wonderful work they created for us. Crystal events is pure class and there will be only wonderful memories that surrounds them.

Coming from a middle eastern background, undertaking a destination wedding is quite uncommon and we were both quite anxious about how it might turn out. From the onset Laura and especially Jennifer were fantastic. Everything was well planned, timely and accurate from the start. Quotes were being sent as requested and whatever we wanted customized was being done. 'it's not possible' we're not words ever said by these guys and it was just a pleasure having them with us.The wedding itself was more than we could have imagined and on the day Jennifer worked so hard and alleviated all responsibly from us and took control of everything. We really see Jennifer as a friend and on the day she was part of the family. We would love to see her again in the future. She really is a huge asset to Crystal events. Experiencia fantástica: Our experience with Nuria, Laura and Jen of Crystal Events was excellent. If you are interested in having your wedding in Barcelona, I strongly recommend using Crystal Events for your day. We are a couple from New Jersey, and chose to do our wedding in Spain in August of 2017. We were in contact with Laura the previous year when we first got engaged, but we put planning on hold to make sure we were a little more financially prepared. When we reached out to Laura in 2016, we picked up right where we left off. We set the date, chose a venue from the places offered, and everything else fell into place. Once we made our initial payment to secure Crystal Events, we were sent a detailed timeline that was followed through until the final week of the wedding. It included dates of when vendors needed to be selected by and everything else necessary for everyone to do their part. Once the blanks were filled in, there was a detailed schedule for payments to be made. Most of our communication was done through email due to the time difference. Anytime we felt we had to do a face-to-face, Nuria was available for FaceTime to discuss any issues. There are a ton of emails but Nuria stayed on top of everything. As our arrival in Barcelona was nearing, Nuria set up meetings with vendors and gave us all details on what we had to do when we got there so we can plan our week accordingly. She let us know balances that had to be paid to each vendor and even when the caterer would be dropping off wine for the tasting. There was an issue with one of our shuttle drivers the day before the wedding and Nuria was easily reachable on the phone to make sure everything went smoothly. The day before our wedding we also hosted a welcome lunch for all our guests. Nuria not only helped secure the venue but she met us there to make sure everything ran smoothly upon our arrival. Anything we needed done and asked for, it was taken care of. We had 134 guests, most of whom have never been to Europe before. Jen was there the day of the wedding to make sure everyone arrived safely to the venue, which was approximately an hour away from the city of BCN. The ceremony and reception at El Convent could not be any more perfect as everything went off without a hitch. It was everything we dreamed it would be and it would not have been possible without Nuria! These women are true professionals and the offer type of support you need when planning one of the most important days of your life 3,800+ miles away. Thanks again for everything! Can't wait for you to help us plan our ten year anniversary.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I live in Oklahoma, planned to elope to Spain, and I went on a google search to fine someone to help me coordinate. Laura won me over with her responsiveness and ability to seamlessly communicate in English. We only had one call because I prefer email and she still handled EVERYTHING. She helped us find the perfect location (Jardin Botanico Marimutra), even though it was not a standard option in the package I chose. The location was easily the most beautiful place either of us had ever seen. She also coordinated music, flowers, meal, and officiant. I was a fairly low maintenance bride. I won't say everything was exactly as expected (officiant's English/style wasn't amazing and my flowers weren't exactly what I asked for); however, I wouldn't trade the experience with a big American wedding ever. The meal was amazing, the florist came to my room and helped me (as we took no one to Spain with us) and she was an absolute delight. That easily compensated for the miscommunication about the bouquet. Laura was always responsive, kind, and so willing to accommodate anything additional I requested. She gave me hotel recommendations and they were spot on. Hotel Arts Barcelona is worth its' price tag. I would use her again for any event. The pricing was also very reasonable for her services. Finally, the photographer she found captured this event absolutely beautifully!! And in 10 years, the photos will be the only things that remain. Laura and Rares Pulbere (photog) were worth much more than I paid! I'd recommend them both over and over.

Experiencia negativa: Although Laura of Crystal Events started out very professional, helpful and competent. After securing the business things seemed to turn around. She delegated a junior staff and we never heard from here again except when monies were due. Speaking of monies, ridiculously priced quotations were being sent across, and as expected , not on the vendors original invoice. We felt like things were getting shoved down our throats and vendors were imposed on us, everything we wanted suddenly became unavailable in Barcelona" or ündoable"". Where I'm from, a wedding planner becomes and informal or semi formal relationship. Crystal events made it so formal, at a point I felt like I was being done a favour. Bottom line, wedding planning was miserable and unfortanately we didnt have a lot of time and didnt speak Spanish so we could not switch .

Experiencia fantástica: Thanks to Crystal Events and our dear friend Nuria, our wedding was truly a dream come true!! It was above and beyond what we ever could have hoped or wished for and that is because of Crystal events and their amazing staff and suppliers. From the moment we first spoke to Laura and the team, our wedding planning became such an enjoyable and special experience. Nuria was always there for us, no matter what day or what time and she was always one step ahead of us!!! If we had a question, Nuria had the answer!! if we asked to have something done, Nuria would already have it done!! :) Everytime we visited Barcelona, Nuria had every moment planned to perfection to ensure that we got the most out of our time there! In particular as we are from Ireland and were getting married in Barcelona we were warned by other people that there was a lot of paperwork and this might be quite difficult but with the help of Nuria this was a piece of cake!! Nuria held our hands every step of the way for over a year and when the wedding day finally arrived we didn't have to worry about a thing and we both enjoyed it every single second!! Given their work loads and the fact that they were assisting with other weddings, we felt that they made the time for us whenever we needed their advice and support. As we were planning from the UK, it was a great help having them to have discussions and make arrangements with suppliers on our behalf. We then would follow up with them via skype and during our periodic trips to Barcelona. Their knowledge of venues in and around Barcelona was of great value which helped us find the perfect one for us. Without Crystal Events we don’t think our wedding day would have been as perfect as it was for both us and our guests. Her knowledge, understanding and appreciation of different wedding cultures allowed us to blend english and spanish traditions at a breath taking venue on the Costa Brava. Experiencia fantástica: Firstly I'd like to say thank you very much again to Crystal Events! Thanks to their efforts, we had a lovely wedding than we had expected. We had a wedding in April of 2012. I lived in Barcelona for business, and my wife lived in Japan for her business. We had registered our marriage in Japan, but not had the wedding ceremony at that time. In our wedding, Crystal Events was the best partner for us. I list up our feelings below: # Initial proposals of pictures Initially we'd had almost no idea about the wedding in Spain. With these proposals, we were able to imagine what kinds of venues are possible, how the venues are, how our wedding will proceed, etc. # Visiting candidate venues Around 5 months before our wedding, my wife came to Barcelona for a travel, and we visited the candidate venues. We were able to see and check every room, even the backyards. we talked many possibilities and preferences. Also every venue owner was so nice to us. # Menu tasting At the same time of visiting the venues, we also tried wedding dinners. We tried many dishes with our wedding planner. Thanks to this tasting, we were able to select best dishes for our guests. In addition, during this tasting, we talked many of our preferences with our planner in face to face. She took notes everything for us, for later preparations. # Flexibilities in options and customization For us, and I guess for almost all couples are same, it's difficult to decide every preferences in detail from the scratch, such us makeup artist, flowers, type of dishes, clothes, music… Crystal Events proposed us some base options to select which fit our common preferences (the main colors are green and white, for example). These base options were great help. Further, we were able to customize. We added a lovely wedding cake, also removed some flower decor. It’s very flexible. # Handling troubles I have two impressive things in this topic. The first is on makeup. By the differences of makeup styles between Spain and Japan, our makeup artist did not have colors which are fit to my wife’s preferences. After the makeup trial, we talked this to our planner. She phoned immediately to the makeup artist, and after all, the makeup went well. The second is our wedding DVD. There were misspell of name in the movie title. She told the photographer soon, and the spell was corrected. #Supports on the wedding day On the wedding day, almost everything proceeded as planned. We enjoyed our memorable time. Crystal Events’ team supported us in the background very well. Last but not least, Crystal Events dedicated so much time for us. We asked many questions, changed details, but they always answered us kindly.Our wedding was a great success. Our parents have already watched our wedding DVD movie again and again, we cannot count it!
