Experiencia fantástica: We had an incredible time working with Carole for our May 2025 destination wedding! She was very organized and professional, friendly and helpful with the various decisions we needed to make and entertained some of our wackier ideas throughout the way. She was happy to facilitate some of our requests like picking up candles from a local store for favors and tracking down animal masks a few days before so we could have them for our photo booth. Carole has great relationships with excellent vendors, and we were really grateful that we didn't have to worry about navigating time zones and a language barrier, not to mention finding teams who were talented and would do a good job. We didn't have a single negative experience with any of the vendors we worked with and felt prepared to make the best decisions for the day of our dreams and what would work best for our guests and the venue. The day was completely stress free and we focused on having fun with our friends and family while Carole handled all the details and timelines. I'd absolutely recommend Carole to anyone considering a destination wedding in Barcelona. We are so thankful for her and have heard from all of our guests how spectacular and lovely our big day was. <3

Experiencia negativa: We are based in the UK and booked Carole to help us with our wedding planning for next summer in Spain. Due to circumstances beyond our control and my father’s ill health, we have had to cancel our wedding and have received a partial refund from our venue given we have been able to provide 18 months notice of the cancellation. We have repeatedly contacted Carole requesting a partial refund of the £2,000 we paid her in advance and she has simply not responded to us! She has caused me and my partner so much stress and anxiety and she has not responded to multiple emails and pleas for help. We haven’t asked for a full refund given the circumstances but a partial refund for the services that will no longer be provided over the next 18 months but she has completely ignored us since last summer! We are at a loss with what to do and think she has breached UK contract terms given she’s not acting in a fair and reasonable way. She has no common decency and I would avoid at all costs! Your wedding should be stress free and a nice process but she has made the whole thing awful.

Experiencia fantástica: We recently got married in Barcelona. We found the venue La Baronia which we fell in love with and we got a list of wedding planners from them. I looked through the list and found Carole. We knew immediately after looking through her website at previous weddings and reviews that she was who we needed. We couldn’t have made a better choice. Carole and her team created the perfect day for us. Carole was quick to answer my emails no matter when they were sent, considering we are from the US. She helped me find a pop violin player which probably wasn’t easy just so I could walk down the aisle to Love Story by Taylor Swift, and she personally picked up our flowers. Carole went above and beyond in every way. Pictures and videographers were a huge deal to me and she could not have provided us better options. We were able to pick a pair that gave us stunning photos/videos. Every option/vendor she proposed was flawless. Carole is efficient and provided timelines so I would know what to expect and I felt prepared for the day verses nervous. On the wedding day, it had a chance of rain, Carole gave us a plan A and B and was prepared to make the setup in whichever area weather permitted. She planned the timing so perfectly we were able to do plan A, —even the weather listens to Carole. Honestly I could go on, but our family could not stop talking about how perfect the day was and that is all because of the hard work Carole and her team did to make the day that way.

Experiencia fantástica: Carol is absolutely AMAZING!!!! My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with our elopement experience. From the very first conversation, her attentiveness and clear communication made me feel completely at ease. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and she connected me with incredible vendors who truly exceeded our expectations. It's hard to plan a wedding/elopement when you are located in a different country, but Carol was always there to answer any questions and offer support. She went out of her and was kind enough to offer driving my husband to our venue so that he wouldn't see me! Carol is so kind and created my dream elopement. I cannot recommend her enough!! Experiencia fantástica: Carole is an amazing wedding planner and I would recommend her to anyone getting married in Spain! We used her for the full wedding planning services and it was worth every penny. Throughout the whole process Carole ensured that we had multiple options for vendors, were comfortable with budgets and the style of each supplier. She understood the exact vibe we wanted for our day and even humored our crazy requests (a saxophonist, citrus fruit on the table arrangements, and taxis waiting around for some families with kids) The week of the wedding the weather was forecasting rain for our big day. While my husband and I were a bit nervous on how this would change the day Carole was extremely supportive and helped us organize a tent to ensure that we would be able to eat outdoors. On the day of the wedding she and the vendors were extremely kind and patient with us. In the end it did rain and thunder on the day but I wouldn’t have changed the day one bit and that’s cause Carole and her team were AMAZING! Thank you for everything Carole, we wish you all the best!

Experiencia fantástica: Carole is an incredible wedding planner and my wife and I could not recommend her enough - we cannot even begin to imagine the difficulty we would have had organising a wedding in Barcelona without her fantastic support and advice. Right from the get go she took the time to get to know us, really understand what we were looking for and, importantly, the budget we were working with, before delivering above and beyond on all aspects. From sourcing venue options and showing us around to organising all the finer details that go into making a wedding so special and personal, Carole's knowledge, understanding and relationships with vendors ensured we were presented with only the best of options at every stage - never pressured into choices, but always given brilliant and honest advice. Finally, Carole has a decisiveness that is invaluable when going through the wedding process, making decisions on the day that proved to be perfect and enormously helpful. Thank you Carole, you are a fantastic person and a fantastic wedding planner.

Experiencia negativa: We had a very unfortunate experience with Carole as a day of organizer. In the lead-up to the wedding she was incredibly helpful in asking for all of the details that I had spent 18 months planning meticulously. However, on the day of the wedding she was far from helpful. She was absent most of the day, causing a lot of confusion for both myself and the groom. Instead of quietly managing the vendors as she was hired, she presented the problems to me and told me that they were impossible to solve. For example, the coaches I hired told me that they had checked to make sure that they could make it up the narrow road to the venue. The vendors clearly lied, as the coach ended up in a ditch on the road to the venue. Instead of solving a way to get smaller coaches to shuttle guests down the hill after the wedding, Carole continued to tell me that my guests would have to walk down the 1.5km hill in the rain. It took hours of back and forth with me involved in order to finally come up with a solution. 

The band played the wrong songs for our ceremony as well as our first dance. It was Caroles job to double check this, as well as the MC responsibilities to keep the schedule in-line. The band neglected to MC the event, so the groom had to MC the event. Carole should have kept the band in-line with both the songs, and the schedule and both were a complete failure on the part of Carole and the Stereo Star Band. When we filed a complaint with the band, Carole defended their behavior, even though we witnessed the lead singer drinking early in the day during set-up. 

I had sent her very specific diagrams of where the specific areas of the wedding should be set-up at the club, and she proceeded to ignore them and make her own decisions without consulting me. When my mother-in-law and half-sister-in-law wanted to put on a completely un-wanted dance performance of my young half-nephew, Carole went behind my back to organize the performance when the groom and I both said repeatedly that we did not want this unplanned dance performance. I had to argue with Carole that it was not going to happen. When my mother-in-law got upset about being told that it would happen by Carole, she left the wedding. Carole left the wedding to comfort her, even though there were multiple problems with electricity that needed her attention.

Onto of all of this, she left before the end of the evening leaving only her assistant to get all of our wedding guests to the shuttles. In our discussions, she had confidently said that she would be at the event for the duration of the evening. 

I was absolutely baffled by how poorly she reacted when things that were outside of my control went sideways. I hope that she is more professional with events that she plans from start to finish, but unfortunately that wasn’t my husband and I’d experience. I would not recommend Carole as a day-of coordinator.

Experiencia fantástica: We recently got married in Barcelona (outside technically at a beautiful venue) and used Carole as our full-service wedding planner. Being from the states her coordination with local vendors and recommendations were invaluable. Besides being a great team of human beings the day of the wedding Carole and her team brought everything to life the way we had planned it and allowed us to enjoy our day, which was a huge relief! :D

Experiencia fantástica: We acquired Carol’s service a month before the wedding as we were feeling too overwhelmed with coordinating with suppliers, finalizing the timelines and also had a language barrier with most suppliers and generally just wanted to lessen our stress before the big day. We immediately felt relief once we got Carol on board as most suppliers we got knew of her and said we were in very good hands. She is very detailed and will help with anything she possibly can. We are so thankful to Carol and her team for helping us achieve our dream wedding. She is definitely THE BEST! Her involvement in our wedding was so hands on and we really appreciate her efforts. I wish more couples get their team as they really do amazing work!

Experiencia fantástica: I had Carole plan my elopement this month and the day went great because of her! She made everything such low stress especially since it was an out of country elopement. She was extremely prompt and responsive. She gave me serval options for different vendors, photographers, and venues. All of her team is amazing!! We were able to get a lot of time for pictures which was great. Everything was perfect, I just wish there was a little bit more time before dinner to enjoy the venue with our family without taking photos. But other than that everything was better than I could’ve dreamed of! Carole also went out of her way to help us with hotel recs, restaurant reservations and car services for our family. I would recommend her to anyone!!!

Experiencia fantástica: After finding our perfect venue in the Costa Brava, Carole was recommended to us as a wedding and the whole process was seamless from then on. Having to organise, postpone and then reorganise our wedding day for the following year due to the pandemic it could have easily become stressful quite quickly, however Carole's brilliant organisation and communication made this stress free for us back in the UK. We were given a lot of choices for every kind of vendor but also given helpful advice from Carole who had worked with many of them before which made this process a lot easier. Carole also put us in contact with the owner of a brilliant restaurant for our welcome drinks and meal which was a great start to our wedding week. On the day, everything ran so smoothly thanks to Carole and her team and they assisted in any way possible which made for a wedding day beyond our greatest expectations. Thank you again Carole.

My husband and I are from the US and both have very busy, demanding jobs. Experiencia fantástica: Carole is more than just a wedding planner: she has a huge heart, speaks French, English, and Spanish fluently, has a great sense of humor, an abundance of patience, AND an incredible ability to turn ideas and dreams into reality. We started working with her before the world knew what Covid was and what impact it would have. Despite all the challenges with organizing a destination wedding with 90 guests during a global pandemic Carole was always available and reactive. Everything was planned perfectly for a date in summer 2021. Due to last minute restrictions in Barcelona we had to take the decision to postpone 2 weeks before the wedding. Carole was extremely proactive and helped us choose a new date at the same location with all the same service providers for 2022. The team of experts Carole recommended for our big day (hair and makeup, photographer, videographer, florist, musicians, dj, etc.) were talented, amazing, kind, and warm; a reflection of her. Our wedding weekend beyond exceeded our expectations and our big day was the best day of our lives. None of it would have been possible without the support with a smile that Carole provided us. Our only regret is now it is over and we no longer have an excuse for regular calls with her.

From the talented makeup artist Teresa, to the chivalrous chauffeur Christian, charming officiant Ximo, and the lovely photographer Miriam, everyone was so kind and supportive on our beautiful wedding day. Experiencia fantástica: When we started with our wedding preparation we actually looked for a wedding planner in France. We knew that we wanted to do our wedding somewhere abroad (I’m swiss, my husband is french and we live in Switzerland). While I was looking for venue ideas I noted three different wedding planner. Carole was the one that answered by phone. She told us that she only does weddings at the Costa Brava, but that she will surely find the perfect venue for us. After this first phonecall we filled out a long list of what kind of wedding we were looking for and a short time after we got ten different suggestions of places. I was overwhelmed of all the informations and details Carole sent us of this beautiful places. One venue was nicer than the other and totaly my taste!! From that moment on, it was so clear that we wanted to work with Carole and that we wanted to „marry us in spain“;) It was such a pleasure to have Carole by our side!!! She is unbelievable professional, has so many good contacts and ideas. During the year of preparation we had the plaisure to meet and spend time with her several times. She was there when we first visited venues, when we did tastings, choosed flowers and decoration, she came with us on meetings with the photographer, stylists and so on. She really helped me with everything. On our wedding weekend we felt so extremly save, knowing that Carole will manage everything, that all things will go well. That‘s also why we could relax and enjoy every single moment of this unbelievable wedding. It was our dream wedding with an emotional ceremony in an epic beautiful surrounding, incredible food, good music, a beautiful decoration and a biiiig party. She came highly recommended by some of her peers in the field which was really reassuring to us, given that we are based overseas and having to rely on Carole for absolutely everything. Consiguieron de verdad que tuviéramos la boda de nuestros sueños, mejor incluso de lo que nos habíamos imaginado. Todos nuestros invitados no han parado de repetirnos lo preciosa que fue la boda y que ha sido la boda más bonita a la que han asistido. Desde que decidimos que nos queríamos casar en la costa catalana, que decidí que lo mejor sería tener una wedding planner. Yo soy catalana y mi pareja, Martin, sueco y vivimos en Basilea, Suiza, por lo que nos iba a resultar complicado planear la boda a distancia. Lo que no sabía todavía es lo bien invertido que estaría el dinero en un equipo de wedding planner profesional, esto no nos dimos cuenta del todo hasta el día de la boda. Hice varias entrevistas por Skype con distintas wedding planners y desde el primer momento tanto Martin como yo tuvimos la misma buena impresión con Carole. Martin no habla catalán ni castellano por lo que necesitábamos a alguien con perfecto inglés, buenas vibraciones y que hubiera feeling desde el principio. Y no nos equivocamos. Todo el proceso de planificación de la boda ha sido muy fácil de llevar, me pude despreocupar por completo de las tareas pues pensaba ¨Carole ya me avisará de lo que hay que hacer o decidir¨. Llegué a confiar tanto en el gusto de Carole que en las decisiones finales simplemente le decía ¨lo que a ti te guste¨, pues sé que ya había entendido nuestro estilo y el tipo de boda que queríamos. Y sin duda que yo no lo habría elegido mejor ni más bonito, ni más elegante, desde la decoración, detalles, flores, etc., todo cuidado a la perfección. Quiero mencionar también todas las recomendaciones de proveedores que nos propuso Carole que han sido un éxito, desde el oficiante, el videográfo, el pastel de boda, etc. Es una ventaja poder dejarse aconsejar directamente de los mejores proveedores que tener que pasarte horas en internet buscando por tu cuenta y leyendo comentarios de otros. Y luego está el día de la boda, que tanto Martin como yo disfrutamos al máximo, completamente despreocupados de nada más, porque ya sabíamos que estaba Carole detrás. Su tranquilidad y confianza el día de la boda fueron una tranquilidad para nosotros. Todo salió a la perfección, la decoración impecable, todo precioso, no tenemos palabras para describir lo bien que vivimos ese día. Y además Carole y su equipo se encargaron de ir recogiendo todo lo que nos queríamos llevar de vuelta a casa por nosotros, lo que agradecimos infinitamente a la madrugada cuando tocó irnos. Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I were flying from United States and decided to hire Carole from Marry Me in Spain; from day 1 she made what could have been stressful process seamless and fun. She expertly managed and executed every aspect of our wedding from choosing the venue, flowers, hair, makeup, photographer, videographer, officiant, transportation and food. Carole provided at least three options to choose from for every service. The team that Carole recommended were top quality and were among the best in the industry. Carole literally took the stress out of having a wedding and allowed me and my husband to focus on each other and enjoying the moment. She’s exactly what we wished for. We’re grateful to have found her!

Experiencia fantástica: I’m not certain where to begin in expressing how grateful I am for Carole and how much my husband and I appreciate all the work she did to make our elopement happen. Planning a wedding is an intimidating feat. Planning an elopement in another country with a difference in language is almost as scary. Carole made everything so easy and was able to help us efficiently plan a ceremony beyond our imaginations. The whole process was smooth and uncomplicated. I can not begin to imagine arranging a venue, photographer, video, flowers, car service, photo permits, dinner, and I’m sure tons of other things I’m not even thinking of without her. If you’re on the cusp, do it! We threw around the idea of doing this a while before deciding six months before our date that if we didn’t do it now we wouldn’t do it any time soon. The process was simple. We were provided venues and photographers to choose from though I’m sure if we had wanted somewhere/someone else she would have made it happen. Every email provided lots of information on each prospective choice and links to testimonials, social media accounts, portfolios, and websites. There were also great anecdotes about each that helped us choose places and people that we felt would best align with the vision of our day. I can’t fathom surviving the planning of a wedding and having so many choices. To be honest, having options defined and coming at the recommendation of someone so experienced made the process just about stress free. Carole was able to assist in having my husband transported to the venue separately since he did not want to see me at all before our first looks. He rode with her and the officiant and speaks so highly of their time together; they had fun! Hair and makeup did the most amazing job and I don’t think I’ve ever felt so beautiful. Getting ready in the comfort of our Airbnb made the morning of relaxing and it was quite nice to have some quiet time to reflect on such a big moment. I’ve seen so many people lose the joy from their wedding all because of the planning. This experience was incredible and despite being together for years my husband and I learned so much about each other in this while having a blast. With each choice came a date night and we would huddle around the laptop with a bottle of wine reviewing photographers, venues, and photo shoot locations. We spent hours talking about what we each imagined our big day would look like and how excited we were to share this with just each other. We can look back on our day so fondly all because of Carole and her amazing team of vendors. We are beyond thrilled with the experience and would recommend her without any hesitation to anyone looking to have a wedding abroad.
